The focus is on problem-solving, timing, and strategy, giving students the chance to test their skills and improve their ability to adapt to different opponents. Rolling helps build confidence, endurance, and a deeper understanding of how techniques work in realistic scenarios.

Drilling: Drilling focuses on repeating specific techniques and movements to build muscle memory and improve precision. Students work with a partner to practice techniques step-by-step, ensuring proper form and execution. Drilling is essential for mastering fundamentals and sharpening advanced techniques, providing the foundation needed for success in live sparring or competition.

Open Mats: Open mats are unstructured training sessions where students can roll, drill, or work on techniques of their choice at their own pace. It’s an opportunity to practice with a variety of partners, experiment with new strategies, or ask instructors for guidance on specific areas of improvement.
